Dump Trailer Weight Examples
It is very easy to overload a trailer with earth works.
Below you will find 3 photos with a bucket, gravel, sand with a few rocks to give you an idea of what it can look like and what it weighs.
It is YOUR responsibility to know your weights.
Do NOT use these photos as an accurate measurements for your own loads.
We have done these photos and examples in a controlled setting.
DO NOT OVERLOAD THE TRAILER
In the examples below 1 yard of gravel, rocks and sand mix weighs about 1,600kg (about 3,500lbs)
1 yard = 2 buckets = 1,600kg
1× standard skid steer bucket is about 0.5 yards (0.5m3)
